You’re just reaping the fruit of your own actions. You’re just flowing with the three gunas that rule your life.
If you have sato guna, then you get results faster. If you have more tamo guna, then everything keeps dragging, and things get delayed.
It’s all because you have to increase your sato guna.
Your success, or the fruit of any action, doesn’t happen only by your skills or the instruments, apparatus, or the means that you have. It doesn’t depend on the means.
It depends on you, the doer. The doer has to be more sattvic.
When you increase your sattva, successful things keep happening.
How do you increase the sattva? Take care of your food. Take proper rest. Get up at the right time, and do your meditation and sadhana. Have faith. With these 5 things, things will start rolling faster.
How many of you feel that things have started happening since you started meditation? Tell me. Things have become much easier and simpler, and things simply take less effort, bringing more results.
So many business people come here. When they sit for meditation, or in the advanced course, they report, “Oh, things have become much better. Me being there, I have much less success. Coming here and being in silence, my business has doubled or tripled.”
People have said this. How many of you have had this happen to you? How many of you here have experienced this sort of thing? It’s happening.
So, the sattva makes things happen faster. There’s an old Sanskrit saying, “The fruit of an action comes to you by Sattva, not by the means that you use to manage that.”
This is what is believed, and this is what happens. That doesn’t mean you sit and do or say, “Oh, I’ll increase my Sattva. I’ll only do that.” No, you have to be active as well.
Do intelligent action. Additionally, Sattva must be present. You must increase the Sattva. That’s the secret.
And again, time is also a factor. When the right time comes, successful things will start happening. You have to wait for that also.
